Kelsy’s editorial and communications career began at the global public-relations firm Edelman, managing award-winning campaigns for international accounts such as Microsoft, London Fog, Eddie Bauer, Muzak, Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, and Columbia University. Edelman is where she launched her 12-year tenure as a reporter and Managing Editor for www.LowerManhattan.info, a website launched by the State and City of New York for the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center. Kelsy covered the post-9/11 recovery effort and the Lower Manhattan renaissance that followed — including the World Trade Center redevelopment and hundreds of public and private projects. She reported extensively on community news, architecture, construction, and residential and commercial real estate.

As a writer, editor, proofreader, and content strategist, she’s produced press kits, printed and digital materials, blogs and social-media content, partner-specific emails, advertorials, event coverage (including photography), biographies, brochures, and newsletters.

Among her corporate clients are: IGLTA, Virtuoso Travel Agents, Brand USA, Clear Admit / MetroMBA.com, Silverstein Properties, Prose Media, LiRo Engineers, JetBlue Airlines, Columbia University, Greene Hill Food Cooperative, Bunge Inc., and various PR companies.
