Kelsy Chauvin is a freelance writer, editor, and photographer based in Brooklyn. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including Fodor’s, Condé Nast Traveler, The Points Guy, CNN TravelRand McNally, Travel Market Report,, and National Geographic Traveler. Travel, dining, nightlife, and cannabis tourism are among Kelsy’s specialties. She also is a devoted reporter for the LGBT market, frequently publishing work in Passport, Curve, EDGE Media Network, Gay City News, and other outlets.

Kelsy covers many North American destinations, including her hometown of New York. She co-authors both the New York City and Brooklyn guide books for Fodor’s Travel, and has co-authored several Frommer’s guides. She also writes and edits for Rand McNally’s annual Best of the Road Atlas & Guide, and America Travels book series.

As a speaker, Kelsy has joined panels at The New York Times Travel Show, the PRSA Travel & Tourism Conference, Philadelphia Travel & Adventure Show, Travel Gay Canada Tourism Conference, and more. She’s also been included in several New York Times articles as an expert on LGBT travel.
